Born on September 4, 1947 in McMinnville, TN and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
Preceded in death by her parents, Baxter and Georgia Coffee; and oldest son, Deonka Hawkins.
Retired from Metro Schools Food Service in May of 2014.
Survived by husband, Charles Parker; daughters, Tiffany Moore, Gayla Valentine, and Wendy (Antonio) Rojas; son, Eric (Tara) Parker; 17 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will gather with friends at Forest Lawn Funeral Home for a time of visitation on Thursday between 12-8 pm, and again on Friday from 10 am up until the time of service at 2 pm. Pastor Joe Moore to officiate. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Those serving as pallbearers will include:Deonka Hawkins, Jr., Taylor Hawkins, Chris Moore, Sean Knight, Patrick Taylor, and David Shoaf.
