Belinda M McCutchen

Belinda was at St. Thomas Midtown with her daughter and son by her side when the Lord called her home at the age of 64 on Saturday afternoon October 3rd, 2026. After a long battle with pneumonia and continued lung and heart problems, she was finally granted peace at 12:45 pm as her Daughter Tiffanii Brown held her hand. Her children were with her that day when she passed.

The funeral services officiated by her pastor Brother Mark Sheldon will be conducted on Monday afternoon October 12th at 3pm at graveside in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Belinda was one of two daughters of the late Larry Matthews and Mildred Maxine Matthews of Ashland City, Tn. She is survived by Sister Candy Matthews. She will be placed in rest next to her parents.

She was known as “Meemaw” by her favorite people, her beloved grandkids or “G-Darlings” as she called them. Being “Meemaw” to her grandchildren was her greatest pride and joy. Surviving is her Daughter Tiffanii Brown and husband Jeremy Brown and children Bear and Sophie Brown of Elmwood,TN and Son James Matthews and his wife Tiffany and their children Jesse and Jacob of Dickson, TN.
