An educator, teaching at Amqui, Tom Joy and Dalewood Schools; Mrs. Van Hook is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lloyd Alvin Van Hook; sister, Rebecca Wilkinson Lovell; brother, Dan (Marlene) Wilkinson; nieces, Karen Van Hook Hale, Jennifer Wilkinson Fraser; great nieces, Vada Brown, Paula Vaughn; great-great-niece, Kristiana Brown.
A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 Thursday, February 26, 2015 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Bro. Charles Baugh officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Van Hook at a visitation Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 11:00 until the 2:00 service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
