HICKS, Carlos Hilton, age 86 passed away on August 17, 2010 at his home in Charlotte, TN. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Willie C. Hicks and a daughter, Carla K. Hicks. Carlos is survived by son, Dennis (Lisa) Hicks; sister, Dorothy Hicks; two grandchildren Josh, Lauren and one great-grandchild, Miller. Carlos served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy after graduating from Dupont High School, where he played varsity basketball, baseball and football. In his spare time he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching sports on TV. He was a loving husband and father, and will be deeply missed by his family. Funeral services will be on Friday, August 20, 2:00 PM, with visitation Thursday from 4-8 and one hour prior to service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1150 Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN.
