She is survived by parents, Phyllis Dunaway and David Dunaway (Mitchell Bayes); Brother, David Dunaway Jr. Marie also had two aunts, four uncles, lots of Cousins. Her special Cousin, Michelle Miller, would meet for lunch every Friday- a tradition started by her Grandmother and Grandfather.
Thanks so much to Pam Donald for over 15 years as sitter for Marie overnight. Special notice to the lifelong friends that helped us give Marie a happy life - Steve and Kathy Phillips, Margie and Rick Mannon, Jeanne Karponai, her Godmother, Vickie Biggs and her husband Tommy.
Marie's smile was so uplifting. She always seemed to want to be mischievous- unable to verbalize but able to communicate in her own way to the people that got to know her. she enjoyed her tv and watched with intent. If it was not something she wanted to see, she would get vocal and so loud you would have to change the channel. She enjoyed Criminal Minds, Law and Order, watched Perry Mason every morning, Price is Right and Wheel of fortune every day.
Marie graduated from Hunter's Lane in 1998. So many times Marie would smile through her pain. Marie will be missed. Her love was radiant and her mother and I feel blessed to have been chosen to raise her and learn from her. Her Love was very much unconditional- she just wanted to be included.
