Carrie B. Lane age 75 - Passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012. Born in Robertson County, Tennessee Tuesday August 18, 1936, she is preceded in death by her husband Carl H. Lane, Jr.; her parents Edgar and Rose Smith Dorris; her sisters Dorothy Stuart and Virginia Keith; her brothers Billy Dorris, Lawrence Dorris and Paul Dorris.
A retiree from American General (former National Life and Accident Insurance Company after 33 years, she is survived by daughter Karen (John Sloan) Ray; grandson Jeremy S. (Ashley) Ray; six great-grandchildren Bailee Midkiff, Brianna Ray, Branson Ray, Bella Ray, Emma Norris and Corbin Sloan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Wednesday, May 9, 2012 with Pastor Bryan Brooks officiating. Burial following in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Jeremy Ray, Dennis Dorris, Allan Corbin, Jay Sloan, Gary Sloan and Frank Horne.
Visitation will be today Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, TN 37072
