HACKNEY, Catherine Ada Lee Birdwell “Nakie” age 80, passed away on January 21, 2013 in Nashville, TN. Preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland Archie and Flossie Eerie Brown Birdwell; a son Joe David Hackney Jr.; and her husband Joe David Hackney. Survived by daughters, Cathy Elaine Hackney and Cheryl Lynn (John R.) Stone; grandchildren, Ross D. (Matthew Strader) and Chelsia L. Stone. She was previously employed by the Military PX, Purolator Courier and Admiral Binder in Nashville. Pallbearers will be Members of the Nashville Metro Fire Department. Funeral service will be conducted by Brother Russ King and Brother Jim Day on Friday, January 25 at 1:00 PM, with visitation Thursday from 4 – 8, and Friday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
