Charles H. Diatikar, age 85, passed away in Springfield, Tennessee Saturday, April 26, 2014. Born in Nashville, Tennessee Monday, August 6, 1928 he is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Grace Shreeve Diatikar.
Mr. Diatikar was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War; retired from Ford Glass Company and loved to crossword puzzles.
Mr. Diatikar is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Waynick Diatikar; children, Eddie (Wanda) Diatikar, Judy (Kerry) Parker, Donny (Patsy) Powell; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be 12:00 Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Bro. Marvin Crouch officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Joshua Powell, Kyle Diatikar, Eric Diatikar, Jeff Powell, Aaron Townsend, Isaac Townsend, Jordan Boyles and Hayden Boyles.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Diatikar Tuesday from 3:00 until 8:00 and Wednesday two hours prior to the service at Forest Lawn 1150 South Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, TN. 37072
