Charles Bryan Lassiter, age 92, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020. Mr. Lassiter was born Friday, July 1, 1927 in Goodlettsville, Tennessee and is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Edna Fisher Lassiter and children, Kayla Hall, Rebecca Matteson, Lorne Lassiter.
Mr. Lassiter served in the Navy during WWII then worked 20 years for UNARCO and retired from Peterbilt after 26 years. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Connie Kern Lassiter; children, Dottie Guill, Judy (Ken) Reasoner, Linda (Jeff) Hale, Charles (Gloria) Lassiter, Debbie (Marvin) Hampton, Robbin (Brenda) Haneline, Donald Haneline, Charles "Bubba" Lassiter, Tammy Lassiter, Sherry (Michael) Pentecost and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sister, Charlene Canter.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 1:00 Thursday, June 11, 2020 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Pete Furnier officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens
Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Lassiter at a visitation Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 4:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Pike Goodlettsville, Tennessee
