I went to school and rode in a carpool with Paula and Joretta. Paula and I were in the same class and were good friends. I spent a lot of time at the Link's home growing up. When I became aware that Paula would be attending Goodpasture in 7th grade, I harrassed my parents to let me attend Goodpasture and they finally agreed to get me in to Goodpasture.  I was so sorry to read about Mr. Link's passing in The Tennessean on Friday evening.  Mr. Link was a great father and husband to his family and will be terribly missed by all who knew him. I haven't seen my old friends since we all graduated high school at Goodpasture.  I am now living in Goodlettsville and would certainly have loved attending his service on Friday -- if I had only read the newspaper earlier in the day, I would have been there at the service. Have known Charles since the early 90's.   He talked to me often and did great work for me.  He loved his Corvette.  Really sorry for your loss.
