Charles "Buddy" Nagle Stamps

Charles Nagle "Buddy" Stamps, age 93, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023. Charles was born Sunday, June 15, 1930 in Nashville, Tennessee and is preceded in death by his parents. wife, Frances Stamps; son, Steve Stamps; daughter-in-law, Sue Stamps; great-grandchild, Cassidy.

A member of Ivy Memorial Baptist Church, he served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War. he was a communication technician. he enjoyed fishing, jigsaw puzzles, an inventor and taking a piece of wood creating wonders. At Christmas he would take discarded bicycles restore them for children that might not receive any presents.

Buddy is survived by his son, Charles E. Stamps; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Thomas), Sabrina, Stephanie, Steven (Lacey), Elizabeth (Justin); twelve great-grandchildren, Trey, Skylar, Seth, Sebastian, Jocelyn, Brandee (Jaycob), Jessica, Erika, Zoie, Rayvin, Jayce; great-great-grandchild, Jace; special friend, Kenny Vernon and his family.

A visitation for Charles will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM, Goodlettsville, Tennessee. with Rev. Jerry Heflin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Masonic Gardens.
