Chastity Sheyla Wright Greer, 44, of Gordonsville, TN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 4, 2019. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She is affectionately referred to as "Bama" by her close friends, colleagues, and customers. Sheyla was born in Fort Payne, Alabama on September 8, 1974 to Donald Ray Wright and Brenda Durham. She was outstandingly kind, generous, compassionate, and an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide (Roll Tide!). Most of all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her greatest pleasures in life were spending time with her six grandchildren and her two daughters. She had a contagious laugh and smile, and always saw the best in everyone and every situation. She is survived by her mother, Brenda Durham; her two daughters, Trista (Levert) Stewart and Jacalyn (Robert Scott) Greer; her sister, Chanty (Michael) Smith; her 6 grandchildren: LeMiracle Stewart, Lesean Stewart, Destiny Stewart, Levert Stewart Jr, Jeremy (Jay) Bradley, II, and Jemma Louise Bradley; as well as her nephews, uncle, cousins, and a plethora of friends and family. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray Wright, and her grandparents. Sheyla's family and friends would like to honor Dr. Modupe O. Kehinde, Jessica Reasons, Jennifer Taylor, Hailey Burton, Tiffany Pruitte, and a number of others who provided Sheyla with exemplary care, kindness, and prayers.
