Clara Adele Young, 83, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015. Born in Nashville, Tennessee Tuesday, June 30, 1931 she preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Nodie Kemp Huddleston; husband, J.R. Young; sisters, Roxie Hamilton, Ruth Davis.
Mrs. Young retired from Metro Schools where she worked in the cafeteria, she was a devoted wife and mother; a faithful member of Dickerson Rd. Baptist.
She is survived by her son, Mike Young; daughter Debbie (Ron) Oster; 5 grandchildren, Nicole Grace, Christy Skinner, Ryan Oster, Michael Young, Jr., Matthew Young and 13 great-grandchildren, Ryan Grace, Sawyer Grace, Jack Riley Grace, Vivian Grace, Willow Skinner, Bailee Skinner, AJ Oster, Bailee Oster, Paige Ryan, Carter Payne, Jaden Young, Gabe Young and Michaela Young.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 12:00 Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Dickerson Rd. Baptist Church 3601 Dickerson Rd. with Rev. Mike Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens 1150 South Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, TN.
Family and friends will gather for a visitation at the church Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 10:00 until the noon service.
