Connie M. Russell was born on Saturday, January 26, 1963 in Nashville, Tennessee and passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in Kissimmee, Florida while on vacation.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Woodard. She is survived by her husband, Michael Russell; mother, Georgia Woodard; brothers, Billy and Michael Woodard; daughter, Ashley Anderson; 4 grandchildren, Justin, Daniel, Cadence, and Cailyn Jayne.

Connie was an accounting clerk at Aramark at the time of our passing. She was also a member of Center of Hope Christian Church for more than 7 years. One of her greatest passions in life was working with the children’s ministry there. She was also an avid reader, painter, exceptional bowler, and a passionate traveler.

The most significant things Connie would want to be remembered as is a deeply devoted wife and best friend to her husband, Mike, for over 35 years, a caring and supportive mother to her daughter, and a fiercely protective, supportive, and loving grandmother to her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted 10:00 am Monday, July 15, 2019 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday, July 15, 2009 one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

So sorry for your loss. I didn't know Connie well but the few times I spent with her, I grew to love her. She was a very sweet and loving person. I will miss her. Wish I could have gotten to know her better and spend more time with her.
