David Lynn Graham

He was born July 25th 1950 to Thomas and Gladys (Del) Grimes of Nashville. He was a 1968 graduate of Maplewood High School. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force. He then worked for Peterbilt in Madison, TN from 1971 until they closed their doors in 2009. He then went back to trade school to learn HVAC, and ran a successful small business. After retiring from HVAC, he lived life to the fullest. He played golf with his buddies, traveled, and enjoyed Thursday night family dinners. He spent most Saturday nights dancing with his friends at The American Legion Post 88 to their favorite bands.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Graham, mother, Gladys “Del” Grimes, step father, Jim Grimes, and brother, Bobby Graham.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Farmer, Shelly (Jerry) Tucker, Chad (Jody) Alexander, and Cammy Graham.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jessica Hackett, Bethany Whiteaker, Brennan Doss, Chance Alexander, Delaney Alexander, Caila Holsapple, Jett Tucker, Kadyn (KK) Miller, and Graham Krisle. One great granddaughter on the way, Rowan Yang.

Also his special friend, Ahnawake Clinch.

There will be a Celebration of Life on September 26, 2026 from 3:00p to 7:00pm, at Oak Hills Golf Course located at 1928 Hygeia Rd Greenbrier, Tn 37073.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in his memory to a Veterans’ organization of your choice.
