David H. Sellers

David H. Sellers, age 85, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. David was born Wednesday, April 14, 1937 in Nashville, Tennessee and is preceded in death by his parents, W H and Lillian Futrell Sellers and his brother, Edgar Sellers.

A graduate of Isaac Litton High School and member of the Marching 100, Mr. Sellers became owner and operator of his own HVAC Company, served twice in the US Air Force; Mr. Sellers had a great love for Christ, he was a member of Inglewood Baptist Church where he served as deacon, a talented mechanist, a crew member for NASCAR (proud of being a team member); a collector of antique cars and tractors (going to shows), he earned his private pilot license and enjoyed boating.

Survivors are his wife of 64 years, Bettye Thompson Sellers; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Sellers, Louise (Charles) Manning; brother-in-law, Louis (Peggy) Thompson; niece, Cynthia Gaston; nephew Bradley (Katie) Sellers and a host of extended family.

A visitation for David will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee with Rev. Kevin Shrum officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers, Rick Ferrell, Bill Beck, Bradley Sellers, Chuck Merkle, David Jewell, George Clement, Josh Waller, Robert Mingle. The deacons of Inglewood Baptist Church will serve as Honorary.
