Age 91 of Hendersonville, passed away June 28, 2014.
Preceded in death by wife of 63 years, Alice Mae Hughes.
Survived by daughters, Phyllis (Harold) Mizner, Karen (James) Ankrom and Judy (William) Cramer; grandchildren, Jerry Mizner, Janelle Swanson, Joy Mize, James Ankrom, Sarah Ankrom, Jordan Cramer and Allison Cramer: great-grandchildren, Kyra, Emma, Olivia, Charlotte, Lily, Aidan, Wesley, Emily, Issac and William; sister, Mildred Hughes Talcott age 93 of Sarasota, FL.
Mr. Hughes was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Force and participated in the D-Day assault.
The family would like to thank their special care givers, Dana Rish and Tanya Millirones.
Visitation is Wednesday 5-8 PM and Thursday 11 AM until services at 12 PM in the Forest Lawn Chapel with John McClendon officiating.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
