Donald "Donnie" Whitt

Donald Whitt, age 46, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee Sunday, December 16, 1973 and is preceded in death by his father, Joe Whitt, Sr.; grandparents, Elvis and Nancy Bunch; Raymon and Opal Whitt.

Donnie was a former firefighter for the City of White House, Tennessee, and Robertson County EMS; Performance Instructor for Lowes and member of White House Masonic Lodge #700 F&AM.

A man who always helped others, Donnie is survived by is wife of 21 years, Christy Dickens Whitt; mother, Ruby Whitt; brothers, Joe Whitt, Jr., Raymon Whitt and wife, Cheryl; sisters, Opal Whitt Lee, Sheila Ballard; nephews, Jerry Lee, III and wife Meghan, Justin Lee, Cody Dickens; nieces, Jessica Lee, Jaycee Dickens, Alissa Ballard; mother-in-law, Wanda Dickens, Brother-in-law, Jason Dickens and wife Amber; and their precious yorkie, Abbie.

A celebration of life will be conducted at graveside 2:00 Tuesday, April 21, 2020 with Bro. Mark Carroll officiating. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only 10 immediate family members may be at the graveside.

For those who cannot attend, the service will be streamed life on Face Book at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens. This will remain on the funeral home page for an indefinite period.
