Doris Myers

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Isabel S. Moore.

She was a UT Vols fan and she traveled to all of the UT home and away games. She and her husband, Dorris were very loyal to their grandchildren's sports and often would travel to their games. She graduated from East High School and was a member of the alumni association. She was a Christian and a devoted member of the Walkers United Methodist Church in Goodlettsville.

Mrs. Myers is survived by her husband of almost sixty-three years, Dorris Myers; daughter, Lisa Myers; sons, Jim Myers and wife, Julie, Thomas Myers and wife, Kelly; grandchildren, Summer and Paxton Peters, Spencer and Dustin Johnson, Lauren and Zach Ehrhart, Ethan Myers, and Gavin Myers; great-grandchild, Eva Johnson. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

A gathering of family and friends for Doris will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072, followed by a celebration of life service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be, Ben Patton, Ronnie Greer, Phil Sweeney, Dustin Johnson, Ethan Myers, and Gavin Myers.
