Dorothy Grace Birdwell

Dorothy Grace Birdwell, age 90, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. Dorothy was born Tuesday, November 8, 1932 in Nashville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Maudie Bell Alexander and Columbus Harrison Farler; husband, Maxie Lee Birdwell and 9 siblings.

Dorothy was a cafeteria worker at Miller's Hospital and Metro Public Schools and she enjoyed reading, she is survived by her children, Tony (Susan Smith) Birdwell, Ronnie (Joanne) Birdwell, Kathryn (Pat) McGinness, Tommy (Mitzi) Birdwell, Teresa (Rick) Wheeler; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. Following the visitation will be a celebration of life at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Heath Pickard officiating.

Dorothy will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearer will be Pat McGinness, Rick Wheeler, Brandon Flohr, Brandon Birdwell, Joey Torrence, Chance McGinness.
