Dorothy W. Ray

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Lynn Ray; sister, Roberta Owens; nephew, Terry Owens (Edie); great-nieces, Kristi and Julie. She is also survived by numerous friends.

Mrs. Ray is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Frank Ray; parents, Asa and Altie (Helton) Williams; great-nephew, Terry Owens, Jr.; niece, Sharon.

She cherished and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She especially enjoyed visiting her family in Door County, Wisconsin. Mrs. Ray can be remembered as a faithful, loyal companion to her husband, Frank. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Community Church in Hendersonville.

A graveside service for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) in Dorothy’s memory.
