She lived a full and interesting life from her employment with the FBI in Washington, D.C. to her long career as a Vocational Rehabilitation teacher for the blind in Huntsville, AL. She loved people and made many lifelong friends. She will be truly missed by many family members and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Annie and four nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William R. Sawyer, sister Rose Floener, and brother Marion Swindell and parents Wilbur and Lessie Belle Swindell.
