Dorothy Eleanor Gray Vernon, 92, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016. She was born Tuesday, January 22, 1924 in Nashville, TN and is preceded in death by her parents Ruth Immel and William Gray; husband James T. Vernon; daughter, Carol Vernon; sisters, Peggie Farrell, Elsie Powell; brother, William Gray, Jr.
She is survived by her grandson, Jason Wheeler and sisters, Linda McKee, Marie Waddle.
A celebration of life will be conducted 10:00 Thursday, January 28, 2016 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Rev. Judith Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens..
