Edward Franklin (Frank) Parrish, 98, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 18, 2016. He was born Monday, March 4, 1918 in Olmstead, Kentucky and is preceded in death by his parents, Katie Young Hines and Forrest Parrish; his wife of 56 years, Corinne Daniel Parrish and daughter, Carole McAnally.
A US Army veteran serving our country, of which 18 months were in Japan. Frank was an umpire at Madison Park and a ticket taker at Vanderbilt's Basketball and football games and he enjoyed fishing.
Frank is survived by his daughers, Jo Ann (Lanny) Price, Cathy (Gary) Neal; six grandchildren; Tammi, KJ, Brian, Leslie, Ashlea, Courtney; 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the chapel at Forest Lawn. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with military. Pallbearers will be K J Beavers, Jeremy Lyttle, Lanny Price, Brian Price, Gary Neal and Tony Milele.
