Edward “Buddy” Sharp, age 85, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015. Born Tuesday, December 10, 1929 he is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Ruth Sharp; parents, Jesse and Odell Sharp; sisters, Dorthy Compton, Ruby Matheny, Betty George, Linda Sharp; grandson, Christopher Sharp.
Buddy worked 30 plus years at Werthan Bag and is survived by sons, Edward (Susan) Sharp, Michael (Pamela) Sharp; grandchildren, Joshua (Cyndi) Sharp, Kari Sharp, Emily Sharp; sister, Louise Ellis; brothers, Jesse and Richard Sharp.
A Celebration of Life will be held 12:00 Thursday, July 9, 2015 in the chapel of Eastland with Tim Rayborn officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Family and friends will gather to remember Buddy at a visitation Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 4:00 until 8:00 at Eastland Funeral Home 904 Gallatin Rd. Nashville, TN 37206
