ADD A MEMORYMartha Jane Smith And Eastland Baptst Church Childcare Workers
January 14, 2021
As friends and (former) coworkers of Mrs. Jennie Dollar at Eastland Baptist Church Childcare Center, we were saddened to hear of her beloved daughter Beth’s passing. We send our love and prayers to Mrs. and Mr. Dollar and everyone in the extended Dollar-Welch family.
We know that Mrs. and Mr. Dollar are both people of deep faith, which they taught both their children. Beth carried this teaching through her lifelong trust in God and witness. She was an example of what we hope our own children—and those we help raise in childcare—would become.
“Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when (s)he is old (s)he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

May I express my sincere sorrow about this and comfort for the whole family! I remember Beth as a student very well. I think what I remember most was her lovely smile - even on test days. Love to all, Mrs. Chris

Ronnie and family, my heart hurts for your loss. I was glad to meet Beth on a few occasions along with reconnecting with Ronnie whom I've known since he was a teen. I can tell you His grace is sufficient and will carry you in the days ahead. God bless!

Beth was a big fan of the country group Rascal Flatts. This photo was taken when they visited our office during a break in a court hearing. She was hesitant but we convinced her to have this photo taken.

Beth and I worked together for many years. She was always willing to do more than her share when it came to work and was one of the first to step up when one of our work family had something to celebrate or needed support. Beth was absolutely beautiful, inside and out. She adored her family and was so very proud of her sweet grandchildren. She always put others first and shied away from being the center of attention. Beth was a true Christian lady. I will cherish our times together. My thoughts, prayers and love are with her beloved Ronnie, Brooke, Jordan and the rest of her family. Rest in peace, sweet Elizabeth. I love you, my friend.

Beth and I grew up together at Bethel Church of the Nazarene since we were babies. We were the only 2 girls our age in the Church. We were always at church Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday night, choir practice, Revival, Bible Quiz Team, Church Camp, VBS, Sunday School it was just us and Loretta or Ms. Markum as our teachers. Decorating the Wilson Farm for Fall Harvest Parties with Liz. Beth was a California Raisin. The Cruise to the Caribbean for 10 days that Liz planned. We had so much fun we went on another Cruise the next year. Beth writing a letter to Ronnie missing him this year. Then Weddings together. I will never forget ALL OF THE MEMORIES BETH!!! I loved growing up with you and sitting on the front pew together. I love you and I will miss you dearly. May God Bless your family and comfort them and may they be filled with love and support and beautiful memories. Beth was one of the sweetest friends!!! In everything give thanks for this is the will of the Father. Beth just as soon as God calls us we will see you very soon!

Beth has been a friend of mine since childhood. She was one of a kind. She had a sweet, "gentle" personality. I can see her sweet smile and hear her laugh as I write this. She sure loved her family! Mike and I will be praying for Ronnie, Brook & Jordon along with their families; Jeff and the Dollar family in the days to come. Psalms 56:8 tells us that God keeps track of all our tears. He keeps them in a bottle. May you sense His presence in the days to come... Love you all! Mike and Valerie Lee
