Erma Dean Lewis, age 87, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021. Born Saturday, September 23, 1933 in Fountain Head, Tennessee and is preceded in death by her mother, Annie Brown Hesson Brooks; her father, William Edward Brooks and her husband, Ben S. Lewis, Jr.
Mrs. Lewis served as a clerk for the Davidson County Clerk's Office and worked with her husband at Ben's Maintenance Service and looked after her grandchildren. She was a member Joywood Church of Christ and later Madison Church of Christ. She had a green thumb and loved growing things.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her daughters, Vickie Ingram; Janet Parkhurst and husband, Ken; grandchildren, Leslie Ellis, Lauren Parkhurst, Logan Parkhurst and wife Theresa; great-grandchildren, Athen Ellis and Locklin Ellis.
A celebration of life will be conducted 11:00 Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Herbert Alsup officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearer will be Logan Parkhurst, Trent Dewberry, Mark Dewberry, Steve Newell, Jeff Newell and Bobby Gregory.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Lewis at a visitation Monday, May 17, 2021 from 4:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Pike Goodlettsville, Tennessee
