Esther Rachel Moore, age 91, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away Monday, September 29, 2014. She was born Tuesday, November 7, 1922 in Sheridan, Arkansas to the late Jimmy Dexter and Delsie Atchley, she is also preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Dewey Moore; sons, Douglas Moore, Ronnie Moore and five siblings.
She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Crook and Debbie Allen; grandchildren, Heather Moore, Brandon, Moore, Tracy Butterfield, Kim Crook, Jusitn Allen, and Derek Allen; sister, Odessa Hunter and brother, J. D. Atchley, II. "She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family".
A celebration of life will be conducted Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 12:00 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Lloyd Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are, Ellis Williams, Roy Powers, Ray Powell, Bill Garrett, Mike Fisher.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Moore at a visitation Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funera Home 1150 South Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, TN.
