Evelyn B. Kelley Sawyer

She was born on July 10, 1933 in Windsor Ontario, Canada.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sawyer and her husband, Willard Kelley; son, Michael E. Kelley; parents, David Edmond and Dealah Irene (Mullins) Morgan.

She is survived by her son, David Kelley; grandchildren, Kristi Jones, Jon Kelley, Christopher Kelley, Morgan Campbell, and Ashlyn Kelley; great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Jones, Jackson Kelley, Mason Kelley, Jayton Campbell, and Marley Campbell; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Kelley. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Mrs. Sawyer worked as a volunteer for twenty-seven years at Skyline Medical Center in the gift shop. She enjoyed going to Chef’s Market and Cracker Barrel to eat with her family; she also enjoyed playing games with her favorite being dominos, and working crosswords. She can be remembered as a happy lady that enjoyed life. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church.

A visitation for Evelyn will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. A visitation will occur Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a celebration of life service on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM.

The family would like to say thanks to Alive Hospice for their wonderful care of Evelyn during her last days, and for the care they gave us as we spent time with our dearest loved one during this time.
