Age 89, passed away, March 19, 2015. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Kyle Duffy. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Lee Rust; son, Jack Reighter; grandchildren, Carrie (Bruce) Cowan, Angela (Bill) Sloan, Darla (Tyson) Wiltse, Erin (LeiAnna) Rust, Yolanda Reighter, Michelle Richardson; 9 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of Portland Church of God and Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Fort Wayne where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and a retiree of ITT in Fort Wayne, IN where she made vacuum tubes for the space program and early televisions. She was a great story teller of history with a moral lesson. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and loved to sing special songs at church with her daughter and granddaughter.
Family will receive friends Sunday, March 22nd, 2015, 3-7pm at Eastland Funeral Home. Funeral Service is Monday March 23rd, 11am with visitation 1hr prior. We will meet at the Mausoleum in Woodlawn Memorial Park at 1pm following the Service for the Entombment.
