A graduate of East Nashville Senior High School, she became an Executive Secretary at Northern Telecom. She enjoyed going to the mountains and to Daytona Beach. For her birthdays, she was treated to lobster tail at Red Lobster.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bobby McLaughlin; daughter, Karen Devlin; granddaughter, Dylan Devlin; and her beloved cats, Oscar and Beau.
Graveside services will be 1:00 Thursday, December 3, 2015 in the Garden of Our Savior in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. McLaughlin at a visitation from 9:00 until the service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
