Frank Shannon Andrews was born on March 16, 1947 in Darlington, S. C. He is preceded in death by his father, Morris H. Andrews, Sr., his mother, Mary Calivas Andrews, and his brother, Morris H. Andrews, Jr. He is also preceded in death by his father in law and mother in law, Douglas Walrond and Margaret Hayes Walrond.
He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Walrond Andrews, daughter Lindsay Maria Andrews Reynolds, son (Steven) Shannon Tyler Andrews, and grandchildren, Reece Shannon Reynolds and Kree Elizabeth Reynolds. He is also survived by his brothers, Dale Stephen Andrews (Iris) and David Barron Andrews (Debra) both of South Carolina, sister Claire Elaine Via. Frank was a US Navy veteran having served in Vietnam. Frank's vocation in life was as a professional musician as a lead guitar player and singer. His love of music ran deep in his heart...especially covers of Merle Haggard. He was a generous man, his glass was ALWAYS half full and he always had a positive attitude.
His first love was for Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior and his second love, Darlene. He was a long time lover of classic cars, working on cars and watching a good boxing match. Frank was a quiet man, kind and strong, a real man's man. He was highly respected and his whole life revolved around Darlene, Lindsay, Shannon, Steven, Reecey, and Kree Kree and striving for their happiness.
A Military Graveside service will be conducted at 2pm Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
