She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard McElhiney; parents, David Earl Head and Robert Frances Stack; sister, Nancy Gayle Westen.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen Beth White; sister, Clarice Ann Head-Palmore (Dennis R. Palmore). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. She especially enjoyed knitting and sewing.
A visitation for Frances will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN, followed by a celebration of life service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
