Gail was born in Madison on September 15, 1962, to the late Bill and Margaret Fykes.
She graduated from Madison High School in 1980.
In addition to her husband, Bruce Moore, survivors include her sons:
Matt (Lindsey) Moore of Portland, Tennessee
Wesley Moore of Goodlettsville, Tennessee
Eric (Katie) Moore of Largo, Florida
Grandchildren:
Gage, Lexi, Zona, Jacob, Hayden, Aria, Maisie and Risden
Brothers:
Pete (Elaine) Troutt of Westmoreland, Tennessee
Robert (Anita) Troutt of Goodlettsville, Tennessee
Sister:
Brenda Knight of Longwood, Florida
Gail loved her family and had a wide circle of friends. She enjoyed entertaining and loved making others laugh. In recent years, much of her time was devoted to caring for her parents and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1, and 11:00 AM until Noon on Thursday, July 2, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
A Funeral Service will be held at Noon on Thursday July 2, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Gail’s family understands that due to health concerns, some family and friends will not be able to visit or attend services.
In the spirit of Gail’s love of entertaining and music, her husband and sons will host an informal Celebration of Life in her honor when social restrictions are lifted and safe practices allow. All of her family and friends will be welcome.
