The moment you met Gail, you gained a true friend. Her laugh was contagious, her heart was giving and her sense of humor could keep me in stitches for hours. Our Oxycare days are memories I will cherish forever. Our days always seemed to turn into nights and our nights turned into mornings....she could "hang" longer than anyone I know. The Bahamas were forever changed after our trip!!! My sincere prayers are with her family and Barbara Jean. Heaven's Gain ~ Fly high friend, you will be missed!!!

I’m heartbroken for her family and her grand babies. Anyone blessed enough to have her in their life for even the shortest time was better for it! She was fierce, kindhearted, funny, silly, loyal, brave, beautiful and a wonderful mother to Matt and Wes.
We had Project Runway nights with our other girlfriends and that will always make me smile and see her face! She and I used to sing duets at karaoke nights and we had so many more good times but I will forever remember how blessed I am to have know her!

To know this lady was to love her. I meet Gail a couple of months ago Through her Aunt BARBARA JEAN. I can say The little time that I got to know her was amazing we had so much fun. I can say that she was the life of the party. She taught me a lot about music, songs that I listened to a thousand times and never knew the lyrics to you better believe Mrs. Gail did. You will truly be missed Gail. Get your rest.

My deepest sympathy to all of the Fykes and Troutt families. I am Robbie who lived across the street, on Melissa Dr from Mr and Mrs Fykes, Pete, Robert (Kitten), Gail and Brenda. Mrs Fykes called me on numerous occasions for many years to babysit Gail and Brenda and to say I was thrilled is an understatement. Gail and Brenda were so adorable, precious and the sweetest babies and toddlers! I loved them dearly, I really did! I am so sad for you Brenda, Pete, Elaine and Kitten & all the family. This is shocking and heartbreaking. I know your hearts are breaking. Please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray God will wrap his loving arms around each of you and give you peace. God Bless❤️
