George Edward Crossland, age 69, Passed away Monday August 29, 2011. Born in Davidson County, Tennessee on Wedndeday April 22, 1932 to the late Ernest Edward and Parl Clay Handley Crossland, he is preceded in death by his daughter Amber Leigh Crossland; grandson Colt Crossland.
Owner of Perfection Sales and Service in Goodlettsville, TN; he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Melody Stevens Crossland; daughters Shirelle (Keith) Leonard, Michele (Jeremy) Gibson, Abby Crossland; sons Shane (Jennifer) Crossland, Joshua (Amy) Crossland; sister Mary (Johnny) Maxwell; former wife Patricia Crossland; sisters-in-law Julie and Christie Stevens; 7 grandchildren, 1 niece and 2 nephew; close family friend Amy Jo Gordon.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Pastor Caroline Farmer officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alive Hospice.
Visitation will be today Wednesday August 31, 2011 from 2:00 until 8:00 and Thursday from 10:00 until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN.
