Glen H. Daniel Jr., passed away on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 at the age of 63 in his hometown of Hendersonville, Tennessee. Glen was born on a military base in Germany, to parents Glen H. Daniel Sr. and Joyce Daniel. He was a 1976 graduate of Maplewood High School and was raised in the Nashville area alongside his brother Brent and sister Glenda. His brother Timothy passed away in infancy.
Glen was a proud owner of The Daniel Real Estate Team for the last 10+ years. Prior to that, he enjoyed an illustrious 20-year career as the General Manager of Clayton Homes of Nashville, Tn., where he accumulated many awards. He started his first job bussing tables at 12 years old and had many career accolades including becoming the youngest ever store manager of a Winn-Dixie grocery store.
Glen had excellent customer service skills and was a world class salesman and realtor. He had a unique ability to make customers smile, gain their trust, and win them over in a very short period of time. Everyone felt like they were in good hands when working with Glen. In fact, many of his clients became close friends.
Glen was a generous and loving father to his two boys Chris and Josh. He introduced them to little league baseball, football, and basketball and was their biggest fan. He attended their middle school football games and Chris' basketball games throughout his middle and high school years as well. He would take them boating and jet skiing on Old Hickory Lake during summertime and they accompanied him on many vacations throughout their childhood and teenage years. He provided for their college education, and as a lifelong Tennessee Volunteer football fan, he was proud to see both graduate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
In recent years, Glen became the father-in-law to Jessica Bangs Daniel and loving grandfather to Lottie and Luke Daniel. He enjoyed visiting them during the holidays and showering them with gifts at Christmas as he had done with his sons. They were his newfound source of pride and joy.
Glen was a devoted husband to Janice Daniel from 1976-2011 and to Adina Lynn Daniel from 2012-2022. He ensured that they felt loved, protected, and supported. His marriage to Adina was also a business partnership that formed the highly successful Daniel Real Estate Team, which often finished the year as a top 10 producing real estate team.
Glen had a big heart and brought joy to many people's lives. He enjoyed making other people laugh, dressing in costumes, giving gifts, throwing parties at his lake house, and providing for friends and family members in a variety of ways.
Glen was also a devoted son to his mother and atomic veteran father. He had a passionate love for his country. His humble upbringing turned into many personal and professional achievements. He lived the American Dream and always helped those close to him pursue better opportunities. Those who knew him were proud to call him son, brother, husband, dad, grandad, uncle, cousin, father-in-law, and friend.
He is survived by his sons Chris and Josh, brother Brent, daughter-in-law Jessica, and grandchildren Lottie and Luke.
