Survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Donald R. Burns; her son Darrell Burns of Portland, TN; her sister Joyce Crafton and her brothers Ronald and Jerry Maynard.
Born in Carthage, TN, Glendel was preceded in death by her daughter Donna Renell Burns; her father James Howard Maynard and her mother Willie Lee (House) Maynard.
She is also survived by many other beloved extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 12pm - 2pm with a graveside service to begin at 2pm and burial to follow, all at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 S. Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville, TN.
