Harriet Jean Bidwell - Age 89, passed away in Nashville, TN on March 7, 2015. Born to the late Christ Hagel and Katie Otto Hagel in Stutsman Co., North Dakota on November 18, 1925. Also preceded in death by her husband, Allen T. Bidwell; and brothers, Clifford Hagel and Harlow Hagel; and sister, Alma Whittleton. Survived by her children, James Bidwell, Ted Bidwell, and Allenette Douglas; grandchildren, Kenneth J. Bidwell, Kimberly T. Sloan, Josh B. Douglas, Timothy L. Bidwell, Thomas L. Bidwell, and Tyler L. Bidwell; and 2 great-grandchildren. Harriet was a long-time member of the Madison Campus Seventh Day Adventist Church, and worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the Adventist Book Center. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm and again on Wednesday from 10 am up until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 12 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Sr. Pastor Byron Corbett officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
