

Harry George Clemens (79) passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026 at his home in Wyondotte, MI. Harry was a devoted husband, loving uncle, and cherished hometown fixtureknown for his colorful presence as he cruised the streets and parks on his trusty scooter.
Harry was born on September 20, 1946 to Jack A. Clemens and Lillian F. Clemens (née Adams) in Detroit, MI. He worked as an union iron worker at Great Lakes Steel until his retirement in 1995 when he and his wife Liz relocated to Tennessee. Later on, they split their time between homes in Michigan and Tennessee when they weren’t posted up in their RV at a campground making new
friends.
Harry is survived by his sisters-in-law Kimberly Hardin and Karen Hardin and his nephews and nieces Brandt Hardin (Aurora Hardin), Rebecca Jackson (Chase Jackson), Jonathan Howell, and Jessica
Howell.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Elizabeth A. Clemens (née Hardin), parents Jack and Lillian Clemens, father and mother-in-law Thomas and Hilda Hardin, brothers Jerry Clemens and Gary Clemens, brother-in-law Joe Hardin, and sister-in-law Naomi Hardin.
A funeral will be held at Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens (1150 Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN 37072) on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 2PM. Visiting hours will be from 12-2PM for friends and family
to enjoy a luncheon and share memories of Liz and Harry.
