Helen Maurice Collins, age 92, passed away July 4, 2017. Preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Collins; parents Lenord Elmore and mother Lucy Ethel Tandy Cook Webb; twin sister Charlotte Green; sisters Christine Gilliam and Evelyn Manning; and brother Robert (Bubba) Webb.
Survived by children Tandy Dalton, Susan Carr (Mark), Robert Collins (Lori); grandchildren Dustin Carr (Aubrey), Ryan Elliott, Dillon Carr (Alyssa), Caleb Collins (Zack), Cameron Collins, Noah Collins (Ali); great-grandchildren Lennon and Joplin Carr, Natalie and Luke Carr, Lily and Graidyn Collins; sisters Nellie Jenkins and Janice Nelson; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and special friend and neighbor Gayle Hymer.
Helen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and best friend to everyone. She was a true die-hard democrat . We will cherish her forever.
Per her request graveside service will be 2pm Thursday, July 6th at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 12pm-2pm.
