Mrs. Jenkins was born August 20, 1928 in Lafayette Tennessee to the late Elmer and Evie Johns Shrum. She was retired from Life Way after more than twenty years of service. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jenkins was also preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Jenkins.
Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law, Karen (Joe) Sanders and Pam (Bob) Adair. Grandchildren Melissa (Jeff) Watrous; Great grandchildren Skyler and Maci.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday September 9th at Twelve o'clock in the afternoon at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Chapel with Brother Ken Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn memorial Gardens.
The family will gather Tuesday evening from four until eight o'clock in the evening from four until eight o'clock and again Wednesday morning after ten o'clock until the hour of the service.
