Hershel Carrol Gallaher, age 83, of Chapmansboro, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Hershel was born Sunday, April 12, 1942 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Rufus and Sadie Gibbs Gallaher.
A member of New Life Apostolic Church and loved the Lord and loved to talk to everyone about Jesus. Hershel was in Lawn Maintenance and enjoyed fishing. He enjoyed joking and cutting up which was a big part of his personality.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Denise Gallaher; sons, Jeremy (Rebecca) Gallaher, Chuck Cooper; sister, Darlene Gregory; granddaughter, Addison Gallaher.
A visitation for Hershel will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM in the Garden of Devotion at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Pastor Nathan Batson officiating.
