

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Dean Harris; brother, Lucian Harris.
He is survived by daughter, Marcelyn Ann Westerbeck (Dale); son, Jerry Wayne Harris (Karen); five grandchildren, Emily Fritts (Chris), Amy Kee (Lorin), Seth Harris, Ethan Harris, Patrick McInnis; five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Mr. Harris served his country in United States Army Air Corps. During his service, he was a PFC at Wright Patterson Air Base and was a Rifle Expert, Pistol Marksman. He was also part of the Tennessee Air Nation Guard as a Staff Seargant. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved fishing, camping, boating, and traveling with his family. He loved the Lord and was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Springfield.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with a memorial service following the visitation beginning at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. The inurnment will follow the memorial service in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
