James Charles Andrews

James Charles Andrews, age 69, entered into rest on Saturday, June 14, 2025. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Jack and Ella Andrews and left this world surrounded by family following a long battle with cancer. Jimmy grew up in east Nashville and graduated class of 1973 from Stratford High School. He entered as seasonal part-time employment with UPS immediately following. Jimmy eventually worked his way up to senior management handling operations and logistics. He later retired from the company to prioritize family and his mom and dad’s declining health.

Jimmy enjoyed golfing, fishing, reading, woodworking, antiquing, watching any sports but especially if it involved The Tennessee Volunteers or Titans, and enjoyed attending auctions and craft shows.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother Tony, mom Ella, dad Jack, and great nephew Christian. He is survived, loved, and missed by brother Johnny, sister Kitty, nieces Andrea (Joe), Angie (Ryan), and Sammie Jo, and great nieces and nephews, Breigh, John, Ethan, Sam, Julius, Jessica, David, Hailey, and Lee.

Pictures and family visitation will be held at Madison Church of Christ Saturday June 21st from 12-2p and a celebration of life service will immediately follow at 2pm.
