He is survived by his wife, Nancy Gilbert; sons, Keary Gilbert (Kelley), Stacy Gilbert (Terri) and Chad Gilbert (Allison); grandchildren, Kelsey, Kyle, Brett and Tyler Gilbert; brothers, Clarence, Randell and Alvin Gilbert; sisters, Lois Jean Midgett and Shirley Humphrey.
A funeral service will be conducted at 12pm Monday, January 9, 2017 at Long Hollow Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held Sunday from 4pm until 8pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Monday from 10am until 12pm at the church.
