Janet McMurtry

Born in Mexico, Missouri to the late Tommy and Oneta (Robertson) Lee. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Jack McMurtry; children Kristi Sanders (Daniel), Katie McMahan (William), Taylor McMurtry (Mattie), sister Deanna Mutter, sister Lori Amis (Jon), grandchildren Ashlyn Sanders, Carter Sanders, Caden McMahan, Chase McMahan, and many other beloved extended family and dear friends.

Janet was devoted to her family and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. She was an active member at Parkway Baptist Church in Goodlettsville and enjoyed every opportunity to serve God and her church family. With her generous and caring spirit, Janet was able to touch the lives of many as a physical therapy assistant. Her smile and laughter never failed to brighten every room. She will be dearly missed, though her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28th from 4pm – 8pm and again on Tuesday, August 29th from 10am – 11am, with a Chapel funeral service to begin at 11am, all at Parkway Baptist Church, 505 Cunniff Pkwy, Goodlettsville, TN. A Private Interment will be held at a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Goodlettsville, TN.
