Our beloved Mom, Nanny and Friend who was always with a smile and putting others ahead of herself, went to meet with her daughter, Jennifer Hammers and parents, Wilson and Doris Pennington… Now they are watching over all of us.
Born on January 27th, 1950. Survived by her children, Julie Rachel (Jonathan), Faith Jones, William VanHooser (Amanda), and Terry Watts (Janice); brothers, Monty Pennington (Darlene) and Larry Pennington (Jackie); 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephew and extended family.
She lived with and was cared for by her loving grandson, Ray Hammers (Amanda).
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 1 pm at Eastland Funeral Home in Nashville, TN with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville, TN.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Eastland Funeral Home, and extend an open invitation to gather together at Becky’s house in Goodlettsville after the burial.
