Jean Marie Ray

Jean Marie Ray, 85, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Born Thursday, August 7, 1930 in Madison, Tennessee, she is preceded in death by her parents, Birdie Mae Potts and Milton Collier, Sr.; husband, Billy Ray; daughter, Teresa Jackson; grandsons, Brandon Hicks, Jason Jackson; great grandson, Kyle Jackson, brother, Milton Collier, Jr.; sisters, Mary Lou Collier and Frances Underwood.

Mrs. Ray retired from Walgreens after 50 plus years of service, she is survived by her children, Lisa Pendergrast, Tim (Carolyn) Ray, Tammy Hicks; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters Jane (Dwayne) Woodson, Barbara Hunter.

A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 Friday, July 29, 2016 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Bro. Clay Baggett officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as active pallbearers are, Dwayne Woodson,, David Pendergrast, Ronnie Jackson, Jeff Jackson, Daniel Webb, Ethan Gammon; honorary are, Matthew Webb, Austin Michael Webb.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Ray at a visitation today, July 28, 2019 from 2:00 until 9:00 and from 10:00 until 2:00 on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
