Jerry Gene Wall, age 86, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016. He was born Monday, September 15, 1930 in Nashville, Tennessee and is preceded in death by his parents, Geneva Buck and Dossie B. Wall and his sister, Vivian Marino.
Mr. Wall is survived by his wife of 42 years, Elizabeth Noland Wall; children, Lisa Reeves and Dana Wallace; brother, Dorris Ray Wall, sister, Carolyn Wall (Johnny) Hart; grandchildren, Shaun Reeves, Rhen (Jennifer) Reeves, Dane Murray, Tyler Murray; great-grandchildren, Michael, Blake, Bryant and Mylo.
He is a US Army veteran, a country song writer; worked as a print setter for E T Lowe Publishing for 42 years; and enjoyed playing and dancing at the Long Hollow Jamboree.
A celebration of life will be conducted Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 2:00 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Marsha Brown officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Wall at a visitation Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 11:00 until the 2:00 service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
