Born in Smith County, TN to the late Carlos and Mary (Finn) Raines, Joann is also preceded in death by her loving husband Frank Harbin, Sr. and their dear son Frank Harbin, Jr; sisters Ina Wiggins and Catherine Raines; brothers Charles Raines, Gene Raines and Roger Raines, as well as, her great-grandson Percy Moore.
Joann is survived by her daughter Tammy Spisak (Ken); grandchildren Kimberly Hartman (Patrick), Jennifer Moore (Brad), Grace Leavell (Joey), Owen Spisak (Sabrina); great-grandchildren Braxton Scobey, Delanie Moore, Sadie Moore, Nicholas Hartman and baby boy Hartman; sisters Sue Robbins, Margaret Emerton; brothers Ralph Raines, John Raines; niece Karen Fellows and many other beloved nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends Margaret Olah, Sandra Peck and Leanne Rodriguez.
Joann managed, in her home, a small day-care service known as “Tots & Teddies”. She found great joy in teaching and caring for babies and young children. Her kindness always made you feel special. She loved to collect teddy bears and dolls. For the most part of her life, Joann was a homemaker and she was very devoted to her family. She never missed an opportunity to share time with them. Her warm smile and loving nature will be dearly missed, though never forgotten.
Visitation for Ms. Joann will be held on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 from 10:00am until 2:00pm, with a funeral service to begin at 2pm and interment to follow, all at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 S.Dickerson Pike Rd., Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
